Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex (LGBT+) inclusion is important to us - so that our people can bring their whole selves to work and contribute fully to delivering for our customers and each other.
We have many employee networks where you can build relationships and influence, learn and support each other. These includes our Spectrum network, which is one way our LGBT+ employees and allies connect, both inside and outside Telstra, to promote a positive and inclusive workplace. We also show our support by taking part in events such as the Midsumma Festival, Pink Dot in Hong Kong and Singapore, Wear It Purple Day and IDAHOT.
We’re a founding member of Pride in Diversity, an employer support program dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of LGBT+ people. And, we’re proud to again be recognised as one of Australia’s top 20 employers for LGBT+ employees in 2016, and feature in the Pride in Diversity Australian National Recruitment Guide.
