Senior Accessibility and Inclusion Specialist
Jason Triolo joined Telstra in 2019 as Senior Accessibility and Inclusion Specialist, responsible for coordinating approaches to accessibility across the company. He has over 10 years of experience in the accessibility space, starting with a stint at a California not-for-profit advocating for social integration of people with intellectual disabilities. He left his home in the US to study a Master of International Development at the University of Manchester and researched the impact of advocacy work on people with disability in Uganda and other developing countries. After making the move to Australia, he joined the Operations team at Uber and established the role of Accessibility Lead, launching the UberAssist option in 7 cities across Australia and New Zealand and a first-of-its-kind trial of wheelchair-accessible vehicles in New South Wales. Jason enjoys using his free time to explore his adopted home city of Melbourne.

    Tuesday 3 December is International Day of People With Disability. The TelstrAbility Employee Representative Group hosted a panel on accessibility in Sydney and Melbourne to hear about how we can build a connected future so everyone can thrive. The event was live-streamed to audiences around the country.
