Essential

Experience in service virtualization tools like OSV/CA-Lisa is an advantage

Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and helping teams explore, adopt and optimize Agile/Lean processes, principles and practices.

Key Accountabilities

Data Architect role is to plan, coordinate, and execute all activities related to the requirements interpretation, design and implementation of Data Modelling, Data Marts and Reporting, Operational Feeds, Migration. This individual will apply proven industry and technology experience as well as communication skills, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of best practices to issues related to design, development, and deployment of mission-critical systems with a focus on quality application development and delivery.

This role is key to the success of the Strategy To performance function at Telstra and will be responsible and accountable for the following:

  • Ability to design and develop Data Warehousing and Reporting capabilities.
  • Ability to review vendor designs and recommended solutions based on industry best practises
  • Ability to provide technical governance across Data Warehousing and Reporting capabilities. solutions at Telstra
  • Assess and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Data Warehousing and Reporting capabilities.application solutions to ensure user requirements and business objectives are met in a timely and cost effective manner
  • Understand overall business operations and develops innovative solutions to help improve productivity
  • Ability to understand and design provisioning solutions at Telstra and how CRM interacts with provisioning layers.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills needed to support enterprise high availability Warehousing applications
  • Coordinate with technical resource within and outside of B2B Digitisation.
  • Monitor process of software configuration/development/testing to assure quality deliverable.
  • Ensure standards of QA are being met
  • Review deliverables to verify that they meet client and contract expectations; Implement and enforce high standards for quality deliverables
  • Analyses performance and capacity issues of the highest complexity.
  • Demonstrate thought Leadership in Data Warehousing and Reporting capabilities..

Technical Descriptors

  • Should be well versed with overall IT landscape, technologies and should be able to analyze how different technologies integrates with each other
  • Should be able to provided scalable and robust solution architecture depending on the needs
  • Should be able to compare tools and technologies and recommend a tool or technology
  • Must have good understanding of Data Structures, Distributed processing framework.
  • Must have experience of executing couple of big data projects (end to end)
  • Strong technical expertise and hands on experience on Data Modelling, Warehousing using SQL DW, Snowlfake, Redshift

Role with us

CPQ Technical Architect will work with business stakeholders and ITS colleagues in the implementation and support of Cloudsense CPQ at Telstra. CPQ Technical Architect is responsible for leading technical CPQ low level architecture activities for Telstra across requirement analysis, design, development and implementation on Telstra’s key CRM platforms. They will be responsible for developing and coordinating technical delivery aspects of all Telstra’s CRM systems implementations, communicating effectively and fostering strong relationships with business users and stakeholders.

The purpose of the role is to take responsibility for ensuring all requests from the business are developed and delivered in the most optimal way taking into consideration business roadmaps, ITS CRM Strategy, industry best practice, vendor roadmaps and thought leadership and innovation delivering a competitive advantage to Telstra.

He will participate in and/or be responsible for technical analysis of functional designs, preparation of technical designs, technical build & implementation of CRM, CRM configuration and scripting, quality & code reviews, facilitating testing, resolution of defects identified during test, managing relationships between support and development team, mentoring and training

Key Accountabilities

Salesforce Certified Developer / Advanced Developer / Technical Architect is essential

Experience in  building applications on force.com platform with extensive hands-on and subject matter expertise in Salesforce technology including

  • Full cycle implementation experience with SFDC (application design, architecture and development using Salesforce.com)
  • Strong SFDC knowledge and Integration components for SFDC (SFDC APIs, Apex controllers, Apex Web Services, Apex callout, outbound messaging, SFDC data loaders, etc.)
  • Command over APEX and Visual force
  • Hands on experience in building salesforce apex classes, test classes and deployment process.
  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce API’s and hands on experience in building custom API’s and integration.
  • Working knowledge of web frameworks – HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JSON, Ajax
  • working knowledge of all Atlassian tools a bonus
  • Expertise in developing CPQ capability using Cloudsense.
  • Proven experience of working with Telco Clients to configure products, Baskets, Order Orchestration and Technical Enrichment.
  • Certifications in Appttus and Conga would be essential.
  • Expertise in developing Contract management solution integrating into CPQ using Conga or Appttus
  • Proven experience with creation of relevant documentation including, but not limited to Apttus CPQ solution design document and requirements documentation
  • Experience with migration of CPQ across environments including experience with the Apttus migration tool
  • Knowledge of the fundamental capabilities of Apttus CPQ including but not limited to:
    • Quoting and Quote Templates
    • Approvals (Deal Manager/IWA preferred)
    • X- Author
  • Fundamental understanding of Apttus CLM capabilities, Apttus CLM 201 certification a plus
  • Experience with Apttus Advanced Workflow Approvals
  • Experience with X-Author for Excel and Contracts
  • Experience with Apttus Wizard
  • Familiar with Apttus admin settings, Apttus custom settings and DocuSign settings.

Key Accountabilities

  • Apply risk management assessment in project planning / ongoing execution and resolves issues and conflicts associated with management of multiple complex high-priority projects.

  • Understanding of APIGEE ,Microservices.

               

Key Accountabilities:

  • Design, build, install, integrate and maintain multiple complex software application technologies, platforms and/or systems and their interaction with Telstra processes and systems to deliver products and services to customer business units
  • Translate customer (internal, external or regulatory) needs and requirements, using technical principles into realisable software application products, services, or systems in a timely, quality and cost effective way to ensure operational capacity
  • Assess capability of vendor solutions and offerings to meet business requirements and manage vendor technology delivery.
  • Make technology investment and business asset recommendations and assessments based on extensive knowledge of new and emerging technologies.
  • Develop platform specific technology roadmaps that leverage opportunities from evolving and future technologies
  • HSE Responsibility: Take reasonable care for your own safety and the safety of others, comply with and implement any reasonable Telstra HSE instruction, policy, standard, minimum requirement or procedure, and support Telstra to meet its duties under the relevant safety and environmental legislation.
  • Design and software development of solutions to meet business needs
  • Provides input and roadmaps to guide solution design for their service/application
  • Participating in design workshops to understand Product Owner requirements (Epic/features) as required
  • Triage and resolution of problems / known errors.
  • Facilitate Story/Effort Estimation for input into planning and cost estimation.
  • Work in a HPSE Manor: implement aspects of the HPSE outcomes and regularly report and demonstrate progress.
