Key Accountabilities

Salesforce Technical Architect role is to plan, coordinate, and execute all activities related to the requirements interpretation, design and implementation of CRM applications. This individual will apply proven industry and technology experience as well as communication skills, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of best practices to issues related to design, development, and deployment of mission-critical CRM systems with a focus on quality application development and delivery.

This role is key to the success of the Customer Platforms function at Telstra and will be responsible and accountable for the following:

 

  • Ability to design and develop Salesforce CRM & Force.com Applications
  • Ability to develop or design CPQ and Product Modelling constructs, catalogue rules.
  • Ability to review vendor designs and recommended solutions based on industry best practises
  • Ability to provide technical governance across CRM solutions at Telstra
  • Assess and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Salesforce application solutions to ensure user requirements and business objectives are met in a timely and cost effective manner
  • Understand overall business operations and develops innovative solutions to help improve productivity
  • Ability to understand and design provisioning solutions at Telstra and how CRM interacts with provisioning layers.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills needed to support enterprise high availability Salesforce applications
  • Coordinate with technical resource within and outside of Customer Platforms team.
  • Monitor process of software configuration/development/testing to assure quality deliverable.
  • Ensure standards of QA are being met
  • Review deliverables to verify that they meet client and contract expectations; Implement and enforce high standards for quality deliverables
  • Analyses performance and capacity issues of the highest complexity with Salesforce application.
  • Demonstrate thought Leadership in Cloud CRM innovations and practices.
  • Assists leadership with development and management of new application capabilities to improve productivity
  • Provide training and educate other team members around core capabilities and helps them deliver high quality solutions and deliverables/documentation
  • Self-Motivator to perform Design / Develop user requirements, test and deploy the changes into production

Looking for: Senior Procurement Specialist

As a Procurement – Senior Specialist, this role is required to have a deep understanding of sourcing strategies, relevant industry trends and market dynamics, combined with the ability to execute against these, to support Telstra business unit priorities.

Success Criteria:

  • 5 – 7 years proven sourcing procurement experience delivering proactive strategic solutions.
  • Proven ability to lead complex contractual negotiations, often in short timeframes and across virtual teams.
  • Proven ability to work across a complex organizational structure where roles and responsibilities vary by topic/business unit.
  • Exposure to strategic procurement initiatives or large programs of work (either as a leader or significant contributor).
  • Project management skills.
  • Change management skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration behaviors.
  • Understand the priorities of stakeholders and develop and execute sourcing strategies to realise benefits
  • Conduct negotiations with suppliers in alignment with strategies and achieve savings, efficiencies and value for Telstra
  • Abide by Telstra and P&SC processes and systems when conducting activities, whilst also applying professional judgement where appropriate
  • Manage complex commercial and contractual relationships with vendors, and support the business in ensuring the effectiveness of suppliers

  • CI/CD DevOps Support Engineer

Our Software Engineering teams are building a new platform to support Microservice APIs, developed by our teams of developers spread across the globe. We're looking for an experienced and enthusiastic DevOps Engineer to join our team and help guide our success into the future.

Primary accountabilities in the role include:

  • Design & support of the CI/CD pipeline
  • Development of software delivery platform
  • Support and maintenance of the production and non-production environments - including on-call support
  • Work with application developer feature teams to ensure successful deployment and operation of their application
  • Support the build and deployment tools and infrastrucure used by our development teams
  • Respond to high severity production issues escalated by our operations teams

About you

You will be up-to-date with leading CI/CD techniques and tools, working daily with multiple features teams to support and guide our software development community in their use of the CI/CD tools we run.

We'll be looking to your contribution of ideas and expertise - How should the platforms evolve? What technologies should we adopt? How can we make the platform better?

We're looking for you to have :

  • A strong passion for automation and repeatable processes
  • Advanced knowledge of Docker containers, CD tools (Bamboo)
  • Advanced knowledge of AWS, and components in a modern web stack
  • Take ideas from creation through to implementation

Job Description:
