The role with us
The Network Engineering-Senior Engineer is a critical contributor in ensuring that the Telstra network delivers a superior network experience for our consumer and business customers. You do this by drawing on your deep levels of telecommunications network expertise and experience to provide specialist analysis, design, development and deployment in network specific technology domains, including developing platform specific technology roadmaps and making technology investment recommendations.
This role will support Testing and Test Automation initiatives in the network activation and assurance space through identification, design, development, implementation, execution, and maintenance of automated testing for different test phases – System Testing, System Integration Testing, Network Layer Inter-Operability Testing, UAT, and Production Verification Testing.
How does this role contribute to the business strategies?
The test automation team strives to strategize testing to create reusable automated test components which could be utilised across different projects in the activation and assurance space within Telstra. This role would contribute to extend these capabilities to have a much higher ROI on automation whilst achieving overall testing milestones. As a test automation specialist, you would assist in making in-roads into the automation journey with a Cloud/AWS flavour and integration with CICD tools to support canary deployments.

Roles and Responsibilities Manage complete life-cycle of GMN Service Delivery - Order to Activation work which includes Incident, Change, Patch and Problem management
Responsible for planning, tracking milestones, activity schedules, issue resolution, resourcing, costs etc.
Prepare, Execute & Track various plans
Coordinate with implementation team for timely completion of planned items
Site preparation, readiness and on ground action initiation.
- Manage the delivery of complete project scope and committed deliverable as per the contract
- Technical solution and services Implementation as per customer requirements (DLD / LLD)
- Manage project activities, risks and resource requirements during the project life cycle
- Develop, drive and monitor project delivery timelines
- Regular monitoring and reporting of the progress of projects to all the stakeholders- internal and external
- Review & monitor project KPIs/SLAs as per the contract. Ensure SLA compliance in coordination with internal teams at Field Services,HKMCR and TBS NOC and relevant external stake holders.
