We are looking for a Cloud Consultant (Data) who will help us drive growth and develop customer solutions across Cloud Technologies, Data Engineering Technologies, Development Technologies and Development Methodologies.

As a Cloud Consultant, you will be responsible on but not limited to the following:

  • Sell yourself into accounts by demonstrating to customers technical competency and experience
  • Lead discussions with enterprise customers on the use of cloud computing, data engineering and development
  • Live and breathe your technology domain, and have it as part of your DNA
  • Be customer outcome focused
  • Accountable for all aspects technical delivery
  • Understand the different delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc) and their pros and cons
  • Execute technical customer engagements, produce design and implementation documentation
  • Implement cloud technologies to achieve the customer's objectives
  • Continue to develop technical capabilities and knowledge
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts
  • Ensure customer satisfaction (NPS)
  • Be actively involved in contributing to our team community
  • Expect moderate travel

The ideal candidate will have highly developed skills and experience in customer management, development, enterprise consulting and development solutions, including:

  • In depth knowledge of relational and non-relational database solutions
  • In depth knowledge of designing/delivery of data solutions into Azure, GCP, or AWS
  • Experience in designing/delivery of data solutions on the edge for data ingestion
  • Experience with data lake and data warehouse architectures
  • Experience with ETL tools, such as Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, etc
  • Exposure to with building data platforms using Infrastructure as Code is a plus (i.e. ARM, CloudFormation, Terraform)
  • Exposure to Data Science technologies such as machine learning, deep learning, and data modelling
  • Exposure to Hadoop or Spark based compute engines
  • Exposure to jupyter notebooks
  • Exposure to visualisation tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or QlikView
  • Exposure to multiple agile methodologies, best practices and development technologies
  • Exposure to classic waterfall methodologies
  • Ability to define and understand customer problems
  • Ability to collaborate and work part of a larger team
  • Good communication skills, high level of technical expertise and extremely passionate about technology
  • Up to date certifications on one or more relevant technologies is desired
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with relevant cloud technologies
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience with relevant technologies beyond the cloud

About the role:

The role of the Corporate Account Support role is to prepare, to coordinate and to file timely Statutory Reporting for both financial statements and non-financial information such Telco license return/form and tax return for all Hong Kong entities.  To oversee the high accuracy and completeness of the accounting records.  Work on International General Ledger (GL) administrator of accounting system.  Collaborate with other Finance leaders within the region.

Your Key Responsibilities and Major Tasks

  • Maintain all aspects of the financial records
  • Ensuring compliance with all corporate, legal, statutory, tax and accounting standard for Hong Kong entities
  • Oversee the accurate monthly accounts, Transfer Pricing computation and Income Tax computations and statutory and regulatory filings within designated time frame
  • Prepare the accurate and quality reports and analysis upon the corporate requests across all business functions within designated time frame
  • Manage the local statutory audits within the set deadlines and assist in the group audit process
  • Ensure timely (monthly, quarterly and half-yearly) submission of management report to management and holding company
  • Monitoring and assists application or renewal of Telco license or any mandatory requirement
  • Manage all local tax filings accurately and within the set deadlines
  • Responsible for the finance projects from system development, process improvement and policy formulation to ensure the best accounting practice in place.
  • International Accounting System-Oracle/TIGFIN Administrator:

      • Maintaining, updating the Chart of Accounts for monthly distribution to Finance team and loading to accounting system
      • to administrate the month-end closing activities, loading the in-house month-end exchange rate, provide assistance to finance team of any systems issues and Open/Close of GL periods
      • of the bookkeeping and reconciliation of the intercompany elimination entries
  • Any ad-hoc projects/reports from time to time

What we looking for:

To be successful in this role, you will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • 5+ years working experience in accounting and with some auditing experience.
  • Relevant experience in a MNC finance environment with APAC or ASEAN exposure.
  • Well verse in Oracle or accounting database management system, Hyperion or reporting system
  • Degree holder or equivalent in Accountancy or Accounting Profession, i.e. CPA would be an advantage
  • Must possess sound English communication skills both written and verbal
  • Must be a team player, and able to participate and contribute to add value.

We are looking for a Senior Security Architect who will lead and provide world class pre-sales solution architect support in developing security solutions and architecture for customer opportunities across Enterprise and Government portfolios in APAC. 

Role Purpose:

The Senior Security Architect will provide and demonstrate outstanding technical sales leadership by setting architectural standards and solution building blocks, managing resources and building deep domain skills across the security products and services portfolio encompassing Telstra and 3rd party elements. 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Act as a leading subject matter expert in developing world class Security Solution Architecture for complex customer environments
  • Provide in-depth technical advice and service to clients/or and internal stakeholders to ensure development of efficient systems, utilising established architecture standards, processes, methodologies and tools.
  • Analyse opportunities and ensure that the solution strategy is aligned to the sales strategy and meets customer requirements
  • Demonstrate solutions leadership in Telstra Security Opportunities.
  • Manage Bid based milestones in Solution Baseline and Lockdown processes
  • Assist the proposal team in documenting and presenting solution/s to clients and provide subject matter expertise on the design and technical constraints for inclusion in bids/proposals including input into estimates and costing. Undertake architectural/technical due diligence on all proposed solutions.
  • Ensure that all solution designs are certified and that processes for peer reviews and approvals are adhered to and correctly documented. Build design capacity through the use of repeatable solution, templates and tools.
  • Adhere to risk management processes and procedures during the opportunity lifecycle. Identify and mitigate against any technical solution risks.
  • Maintain in-depth, up to date technical and industry knowledge across Telstra service offerings and relevant market segments.
  • Drive product and service development

  • Consistently apply Telstra operating systems, methodologies, policies and procedures.
  • Consistently apply Telstra agreed architectural practice standards.

Building Relationships

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with peer groups and key internal stakeholders.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an Agile DevOps Scrum Master (SM) who will be responsible for organizing, facilitating and motivating agile project teams operating with DevOps model. This role will also drive the teams towards overall organizational vision, aligning them with internal practices and processes to achieve a high level of performance and quality in project deliveries and help them continually improve technical capabilities and refine development practices.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

The SM is accountable for driving one or more high performance software engineering teams in a fast-paced environment and ensure quality software is delivered by the team according to specifications in adherence to procedures and in line with technical and business objectives and organizational strategy. The SM plays a number of different roles in actual practice:

  • Manages the scrum process with the coordination of scrum team in Agile methodology
  • Play a consultative/collaborative role to help put in place the appropriate process and tools and with the coordination of scrum team using Agile methodologies primarily Scrum & Extreme Programming Engineering practices
  • Support Product Owner and work closely with the team in product backlog grooming, program increment planning, sprint level planning, tracking and building software release plan
  • Identify risk and attendant mitigations in sprint plan and MVP selection
  • Maintain, monitor, and improve Agile metrics (Burndown, Velocity, Cumulative Flow)
  • Contribute to support the development and deployment of project from a technical viewpoint (e.g. managing system design, configuration & testing to meet technical and functional requirements)
  • Support epic and story estimation by guiding the teams in implementing normalized estimation processes and techniques
  • Monitors, manages and escalates impediments, risks and dependencies
  • Coordinates with other Scrum Masters and Release engineers in Scrum-of-Scrums throughout each Sprint
  • Ensures teams operate under architectural and portfolio governance, system level integration, and demos
  • Helps drive continuous improvement by identifying issues or opportunities and coaching agile teams

 

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCES
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as Agile (Scrum), DevOps and traditional project management principles and practices
  • Minimum 5 years of solid experience playing the role of Scrum Master
  • On hands experience with JIRA / Rally / Version One
  • Certified Scrum Master
  • Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
  • Ability to work closely with business analysts and collaborate with customers
  • Among the skills required, these include:
    • BA or BS or equivalent experience is required; MA or MS is a plus
    • Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building
    • Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc.
    • Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing
    • Applicable knowledge of the technologies used by the team
    • Solid practitioner knowledge and delivery using Agile Scrum methodology
    • Motivated self-starter, strong logical, creative problem-solving skills and excellent analytical skills
    • Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and IT
    • Sound knowledge of Agile metrics, team maturity and fluency levels
