About the role

We are looking to hire 6 permanent roles across the country which will be reporting to the Technology Sales – Chapter Lead.

As a Senior Mobility Sales Specialist, your role will need to ensure ongoing inputs into the Enterprise mobile sales pipeline, prioritised and managed against customer demand. This requires a key understanding of the underlying products on offer to customer, customer requirements, demand trends and overlay these trends across historical and new technologies. Your ability to articulate how mobility can transform businesses and your entrepreneurial spirit is what makes you exceptional at your job, you’re focused on developing end-to-end mobility solutions. You communicate with influence, thrive off collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders, and apply your commercial acumen to be successful in this role.

As a Senior Mobility Sales Specialist, you are a trusted advisor and customer advocate who thrives on developing comprehensive, tailored mobility solutions for our customers. You understand Telstra’s customer needs intimately, applying your deep knowledge of our mobility products and services and key relationships (e.g. Account Team) to influence their mobile strategy.

Key Accountabilities include:

  • Responsibility for pipeline and revenue across your mission or Group specifically for mobility
  • Make a strong contribution to sales and revenue growth through developing and maintaining a strong qualified pipeline of incremental opportunities in relation to mobility
  • New customer opportunities by working with the PO, client partners and customer
  • Work within defined industry vertical to understand the business & technology strategies of those customers
  • Take ownership and lead opportunities where appropriate being new business, and or renewal/growth
  • Prepare and present to customers with compelling proposals and solutions across the Telstra’s mobility solutions
  • Collaborate with other Sales teams and client partner for ongoing retention and growth
  • Work with our Strategic Vendors to drive opportunities and new use cases
  • Work with the TE indirect channel for specific customer solutions
  • Build and maintain effective executive relationships with customers in your mission or group
  • Senior stakeholders management ensuring status, progress and issues are regularly communicated, actioned and progressed.
  • Recognised as a technical mobile sales expert and trusted advisor to key senior stakeholders (external and internal), producing deep technical and business insights that articulate Telstra’s mobile solutions
  • Accurate Salesforce reporting

This is how you will bring the purpose of your role to life:

Enterprise Mobility Sales Specialist:

  • Attendance in weekly sales pipeline meetings and mission reporting.
  • Identification and management of mobility opportunities
  • Understand key mobility products and ability to articulate value across each for Enterprise customers
  • Liaising with POs and client partners on opportunity management
  • Using key analytics and sales pipeline to provide inputs into sales cadence
  • Ensuring accuracy of forecasts to deliver against sales targets and meeting customer expectation

  • Previous experience in a customer facing environment is highly advantageous!
