About the role:

As a Product Specialists in this portfolio, you will be part of a team responsible for all aspects of running products and services, with emphasis around colocation. You will work with Senior Product Specialist and across the value chain to manage the lifecycle of co-location product portfolio. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Contribute skills and experience to the team to enable it run co-location products within Telstra with a focus on lifecycle strategy across all relevant segment channels
  • Collaborate within the product team and group, and across the value chain to create a superior end-to-end customer experience across the product lifecycle that drives growth and profitability
  • Contribute commercial acumen and product economics skills to enable the team to continuously improve product performance, including identifying and addressing market trends, commercial matters, competitive threats and regulatory issues and optimising product profitability. Undertake revenue modelling to communicate position for portfolio whilst calling out risks and opportunities
  • Participate in major sales activities, including: product and services training, customers escalations and support for key bids
  • Work cross functionally with Product Marketing, Sales Teams and Partners to create sales campaigns to drive uptake of products and services and improve EBITDA
  • Work with Product Marketing to maintain and provide content for product related collateral and sales tools and position the product for all markets and all buyer types
  • Work on optimising the end to end customer engagement process (presales to post-sales support) to deliver a better customer experience.
  • Participate and embrace the ways of working mindsets and practices for the team

To be successful in the role, you’ll need:

  • 7+ years of experience in industry with a Bachelor Degree – in Computer Science, Business, Engineering or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in colocation and/or data centre products.
  • Good understanding of Product Lifecyle.
  • Experience and/or good knowledge of international market such as APAC
  • Strong analytical skills ability to calculate and articulate ROI of products
  • Good understanding of product economics
  • Strong excel skills and understanding of how to build a forecast 
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • High attention to details
  • Is able to deliver to timelines that have been committed to
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

The Business Process Manager will be responsible for establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with peer groups and key internal stakeholders and where applicable, manage key external stakeholders relevant to the achievement of business objectives
 

Success Criteria:
•    Degree + 2-5 years on the job experience or Significant on the job experience + some specialised vocational skills (including Team Management) Perform analysis and recognise patterns in processes and procedures  to initiate incremental improvements and solutions to existing processes, products and systems in own area.
•    Hands on experience in business process management, end to end business improvement activities.
•    Hands on experience in business improvement tools like Signovia.
•    Provide quality advice based on technical knowledge

About the role:

This role is responsible for leading the direction and evolution of the Broadcast services networks. A key component of the role will be to ensure customer video boundaries can be managed in IP, requiring solid understanding of SMPTE 2022 and 2110 standards, and development of Remote Production and 4K capabilities across our platforms. The successful candidate will need to assist strategic product groups in evolving the media product, with due regard to standards and engineering factors essential to running a broadcast grade network.

Success Criteria:

  • 7 years minimum Industry experience in the Media or IP core Network domain. Preferably worked in large Telecommunications Operators (e.g. Optus, Telstra, Vodafone, Hutchison, BT, AT&T, Verizon), Primary Integrators (Huawei, Ericsson, Lucent-Alcatel, Nokia-Siemens, Cisco, HP), or Broadcasters (Channel 7, Channel 9, SBS, ABC) and Media networking Integration companies
  • Must have experience with routing and switching technologies.  Evidence of having worked with large IP core networks.
  • Proven IP networking design and deployment experience with L2 and L3 networks, Routing protocols – BGP, OSPF, Multicast, and MPLS.
  • Current Knowledge of Emerging technologies – SDN, NFV, Segment Routing
  • Understanding on video technologies and evolving standards (SMPTE 2022 and 2110)
  • Knowledge of key requirements for a network to offer remote event production.

High desirable

  • CCNP/CCDP/CCIE qualifications

Skilled in:

  • MPLS, RSVP-TE, IPVPN protocols
  • IPv6 network design and deployment
  • Carrier Ethernet technologies: EVPN, PB, PBB
  • Experience in roadmap creation

  • Join the Managed Enterprise Networks community - we are the engine room, enabling the connection of services to customers, working to be more automated with a lower cost on our digitisation journey. We will rely on you to take us further on this journey.
  • Provide and lead specialist analysis, design, development and deployment in network specific technology domains, including developing platform specific technology roadmaps and making technology investment recommendations to deliver products and infrastructure to defined service level standard
  • Design, install and maintain a Citrix multi cloud platform. You'll be managing this solution across multiple platforms and lead the migration to the Citrix control plane. As part of Citrix deployment automation, you will need to maintain and write automation playbooks, roles which are integrated and executed through an automation engine.
  • Actively participate in an EngOps virtual team providing engineering design, change implementation and support of the Managed Network Services (MNS) platform and associated network infrastructure. You will report to the Technical Product Owner, and work in a small, collaborative EngOps team that focuses on delivering outcomes to a high standard.
  • Contribute to and participate in developing system requirements and solutions. Translate complex domain and solution architectures into platform specific requirements and designs & define system interfaces and processes as well as deliver quality end-to-end systems that meet the user needs.   • Practical experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery pipelines. Enhancing and improving CI/CD capabilities to reduce cycle time while retaining quality

As a Store Replenishment Planner, you will ensure optimum store level inventory ensuring targeted customer service levels and inventory are met.

In this role, your Key Responsibilities will be…

  • Initiate and support innovative and cost-effective supply planning, control and optimisation technologies and practices to enhance business and standing with customers and stakeholders.
  • To ensure that the demand plan reflects the market knowledge to increase forecast accuracy and optimise inventory
  • Manage ongoing store replenishment order to balance store demand with business unit objectives, cost and supply, with consideration to constraints
  • Ensure stock quantities are adequate to support sales and customer demand based on demand forecasting requirements and identify/raise current and potential product shortages
  • Review data and reports on key performance metrics to improve service levels, improve performance continuously, and investigate root causes and improvement areas that may contribute to lower supply chain costs, devise corrective actions and provide recommendations.

To be successful in the role, you must have…

  • Experience in Supply Chain and Demand handling forecasting and reporting in an inventory store replenishment space
  • Acquired knowledge of the physical logistics networks (including destinations/stores), supply management policies and practices, and third-party commercial arrangements
  • Acquired knowledge of supply chain requirements, product and distribution requirement plans
  • Demonstrated contemporary functional supply chain knowledge and application within a complex environment, including multi-side knowledge
  • Demonstrated understanding of supply chain metrics and improvement initiatives
  • Relevant supply chain qualifications (APICS/ASCI or similar)
  • Relevant experience within Retail/FMCG or other world class supply chain environment
  • Intermediate to Expert level Excel skills with hands on experience on the following:
  • ERP Software knowledge and experience

About the role:

GBS Innovation is leading Telstra towards a future state of process excellence, providing the tools, capabilities and expertise for a new way to improve the way serve customers and employees. This role is instrumental in delivering an effective program of direct and enabling initiatives to drive GBS and Telstra toward being a process engineering and process automation led business.

As the Project Specialist, contribute to the predictability and implementation of new or enhanced business capability, through effective collaboration with the mission leads to manage project delivery, risk management and benefits realisation in an agile fashion

To be successful in the role, you’ll.

  • Support the Program and Delivery manager with implementation of the Innovation Program Management Plan, including costing, resourcing, schedule, active and effective risk management and provide this information to the End to End Project Manager for incorporation in the overall project plan and governance processes
  • Design and implement Agile practices to allow for flexible delivery and responses to change in business direction and scope
  • Management of agile delivery pipeline (within JIRA software) and driving continual improvement in standards to contribute to a clear roadmap and dependency management
  • Support Program Manager with Governance and risk mitigation to ensure the project delivers the agreed solution within defined quality, time, and cost constraints
  • Support Mission Leads and Solution owners with administrative, co-ordination and support tasks to enable the focused delivery of outcomes.
  • Support execution of governance cadences for the program utilising an agile approach (Group Syncs, Monthly Governance, Showcases)
  • Support the negotiation and administration of commercial outcomes with partners and vendors
  • Support the Program Manager to effectively detect and manage dependencies across missions
  • Support the measurement and collation of critical KPIs for the program success
  • Support PMO with Cost and Benefit tracking

Qualification –

Essential -

  • 5 or more years of professional experience
  • Tertiary qualification
  • Professional certification or accreditation in project or program management
    • At least two of: PMP®, MSP™, RegPM, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum
    • Optional additions: ITIL, Lean, SixSigma, SDLC
    • Advanced Agile certifications (Scrum, LESS, Safe)
    • Active membership of AIPM or PMI preferred
  • Experience in delivery of complex and shifting enterprise programs of work in a technology or services background
  • Experience in implementing agile ways of working at scale
  • Experience in negotiating and managing commercial outcomes with vendor partners
  • Experience in defining, executing and communicating strategy (ie: professional services implementation background)
  • Experience in working with offshore teams and driving results in India

High desirable –

  • 3+ years’ experience managing projects.
  • Strong track record applying project management principles, including risk management and benefits realisation planning.
  • Accomplished at delivering projects against specified time constraints and budget
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with a proven record developing positive and transparent stakeholder relationships
