The primary objective of this role is to provide complex technical service, solutions and support to the networks, infrastructure, products and services supplied and operated by Telstra.

Your Key responsibilities include the following, but not limited to:

  • Perform or participate in complex, specialised technical investigations to determine/confirm system and design standards and performance parameters for the networks, infrastructure, products and services supplied and operated by Telstra.
  • Provide incident, problem, change management and service request fulfilment functions. Ensure to respond and resolve incidents, problems within agreed timelines.
  • Complete the change and service requests within agreed timelines or change window.
  • Provide pro-active Change management with customers to ensure that customer impact of service/network changes and planned outages are minimised.
  • Diagnose and restore complex issues with the networks, infrastructure, products and services supplied and operated by Telstra.
  • Prepare process documentation to describe how networks, infrastructure, products and services operate.
  • Provide input into and maintain technical documentation.
  • Deliver and/or develop technical training updates & or briefings to staff to ensure understanding of process & procedures.
  • Act as an escalation contact for NOC team.
  • Participate in on-call roster to provide after hour support.

What you’ll bring

  • Ideally you will have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Telecommunications or equivalent.
  • Solid experience in telecommunication industry including experience working in a service provider or large enterprise environment
  • High level of experience with Cisco, Juniper, Aruba and/or Arista enterprise routers & switches
  • High level of experience in Wireless, Voice and ACI
  • Cisco CCNP (Data, Voice, Security or Data Centre) .

Highly desirable (Any)

  • CCIE Switching/Routing
  • Experience with Network Management Systems (SSH, SNMP, AAA, SysLog, Netcool, Infovista).
  • Knowledge of Riverbed, F5, Cisco GET VPN, SDWAN, Cisco DNAC
  • ITIL v3 certification
  • Unix/Linux skills and knowledge of SPLUNK, BNA, Node Red Full-stack development skills

In the role of Windows Server Administrator, you will be providing complex technical service, solutions and support to the networks, infrastructure, and products and services supplied and operated by Telstra.

Your key responsibilities and major tasks include, but not limited to:

  • Build and maintain Windows based devices
  • Advanced/expert level knowledge in one (or more) of the following areas: Windows server/desktop, VMWare, MS Database
  • Provide L2 and L3 systems administration for platforms including: System and application patching; Operating System and application configuration; Performance monitoring and Incident resolution
  • Prepare process documentation to describe how networks, infrastructure, products and services operate.
  • Provide input into and maintain technical documentation
  • Provide support to other areas of the business as needed from time to time

To be successful in this role, you will have the following experience/qualifications/attributes:

  • Expert level Windows Server based system administration activities including high level troubleshooting in a complex environment. 
  • Building and maintaining Windows server and desktop systems.
  • VMWare or MS Exchange demonstrable experience
  • Substantial experience performing customer restorations and incident response in a complex environment.
  • Knowledge of Red Hat Linux system administration and MSSQL support would be beneficial.
  • Experience building and maintaining gateway services such as SMTP, Web Proxy and DNS would also be highly regarded.

Candidates must be Australian Citizens with minimum level of Negative Vetting 1 security clearance to be considered. This role will also require you to maintain an Australian Government NV1 security clearance.

Our Telstra Colocation Portfolio addresses customers hosting needs with geographically diverse data centres operating in 14 countries and territories across Asia, Australia, US and Europe and comply with International data centre standards.

As a Senior Product Specialists, you will be the primary lead on Telstra’s colocation product portfolio defining its vision, strategy and roadmap. You will maintain a close relationship with the market (partners and customers), identify growth opportunities and drive profitability for Telstra.

Other responsibilities as a Senior Product Specialist will include:

  • Contribute deep product, segment and technical expertise to run co-location products within Telstra
  • Focus on lifecycle strategy across all relevant segment channels, and improve the product performance and optimising profitability
  • Define product vision, strategy and roadmap by to achieve the strategic goals for the portfolio   
  • Collaborate within the product team and group, and across the value chain to create a superior end-to-end customer experience across the product lifecycle
  • Participate in major sales activities, including product and services training, customers escalations and support for key bids
  • Identify new geographies and services to launch to cater to market demand and drive growth
  • Work cross functionally with Product Marketing, Sales Teams and Partners to create sales campaigns to drive uptake of products and services and improve EBITDA
  • Participate and embrace the agile ways of working mindsets and practices for the team

Therefore, to be successful in this role, you need to have the following:

  • 10 + years previous experience in managing/operating colocation or data centre products, both domestic and international
  • Understand product lifecycle, and experience in product roadmaps, business strategy and launching new products and services
  • The ability to leverage and build on existing products and services and innovatively resell these to the market
  • Strong analytical skills ability to calculate and articulate ROI of products
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and comfortable with engaging at senior levels
  • Good knowledge of international market such as APAC

The Channel Flow Digital Portfolio Lead will play a lead role integrating the Telstra Digital Channels with the overall Retail Plan for Telstra to effectively deliver against a singular, aligned Retail Plan that sets the course for decision making, alignment and prioritisation across the Telstra Digital Channels.

• Lead, as a service function for Telstra Digital Channels, to deliver an aligned change & activity roadmap that ensures prioritisation, governance and decision making at the right place with the right business partners that delivers on Consumer & Small Business and Telstra Digital Channels objectives.
• Support Telstra Digital Channels front-door engagement process and work closely with the Digital Channels Portfolio Senior Specialists and the Group Owners on release management;
• Provide leadership in scrum of scrums role prioritisation and governance service function utilising prior experience in agile ways of working.
• Lead operational and ongoing maintenance and implementation of the Consumer & Small Business Retail Plan ensuring changes and incremental activities are introduced effectively and efficiently, including health of program of work.
• Proactively anticipate any issues, bottlenecks which might impact the backlog delivery and help in solving them.
• Lead broad stakeholder engagement and management that brings operational rhythms to bear with cross functional teams buy in.
• Lead with a win:win business partnership mentality that holds key collaboration paramount and seeks to understand for the betterment of all.
• Drive continuous improvement in the business, through ongoing improvement identification in how we business partner within Telstra to maximise planning timeframes, engage, collaborate and prioritise activity.
• Support leadership with appropriate project work as required;
• Ensures Jira is actively used as a portfolio management tool in unified way across all the teams.
 

About you:

• Proven practical experience in a related work environment with agile ways of working and planning / scrum master experience

Management of the identified relationships between Telstra and Dealers/Licensees in an effort to fulfil the financial obligation between Telstra and its key partners as per the CCG Customer Relationship Model, by:

  • Manage indirectly a team of commissions specialist 
  • Provide SME support to the team
  • Manage any escalations from Internal and External Stakeholders impacting commissions
  • Providing commission, reporting and claim-related responses to enable the Dealer/Licensee to rectify issues as arising;
  • Identifying the need for, and providing knowledge transfer/training for Dealers/Licensees; and respond to medium-volume, medium-duration customer contacts (phone, email, Internet etc) in order to meet prescribed performance and service standards.        
  • Identification of issues that may be of broader impact to the group, with input/recommendation to their resolution.
  • Contribution to a positive and productive work environment through applications of Telstra values leadership of and participation in key projects as agreed in KRAs
  • Ensure that all queries/issues received through the CCG team are processed on time, accurately and within business rules, with complete and appropriate documentation retained on file for audit purposes.
  • Ensure information that is provided to internal and external customers is accurate, timely and in line with organisational service policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant Corporate policies, processes, procedures and practices.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of processes and systems through action to identify, investigate and resolve issues with the involvement of appropriate personnel /work groups.
  • ensure that all special project obligations are undertaken and completed with full commitment and participation to the best of one’s abilities.
  • Manage, run and update Lavastorm graphs and analytics to process and reduce claim volumes.
  • Manage priority claims and dealer claim queries via the Claims manager and/or the Channel relationship and Support team
  • Ensure that all manual files/sales loads for the week/month are reviewed and sent to the payment team prior to payment runs commencing
  • Contribution to discussion and issues resolution at both a team level and the wider CCG team
  • Assist  team members  with claim related queries and follow-up with appropriate teams within CCG
  • Provide training assistance for existing and new team members
  • Provide miscellaneous/adhoc reporting as requested within agreed timeframes.

Qualifications/Experiences 

Experience - 4 - 8 years of relevant experience.

  • High level leadership and organisational skills.
  • Ability to see the big picture and act in accordance with the most optimum customer and business outcomes.

  • Embed core practices and uplift capabilities to enable self-managed, high quality and assured services as a provider
  • Shift role from a service provider to a business partner, bringing new capabilities and improvements across our service domain
  • Service performance assessment & business alignment
  • Oversee review of Accounts Payable business processes and workflows with the objective of finding out how they can be improved or automated
  • Engage with relevant Accounts Payable subject matter experts to ensure the successful delivery of all program requirements

Qualifications -

Experience - 8 to 15 years

Essential

  • Tertiary qualification in Finance, Business or related field is desirable
  • Previous experience in Accounts Payable functions
  • Process review and improvement
  • Professional experience in BPO Partner Management/Operations Management
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Planning and performance evaluation
  • Project Management previous people management experience
  • Good Knowledge of Telstra’s Systems in particularly Telstra General (IntegralPLUS) and Meridian
