About the role

This role is centred on the “Foxtel from Telstra” product, working on a premium Media product of choice for customers, and including transforming to becoming a digitally led product experience.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be a key member of a high performing team that works to transform the Foxtel from Telstra product to be digitally led and optimised across Foxtel and Telstra to create a simple personalised customer experience. Deliver improved profitability while reducing the cost and time to market of implementing changes to the core Foxtel product.

This role is a critical position ensuring the success of Telstra’s T22 strategy, and transforming to a digitally led product.

We are looking for a self -motivated & autonomous individual who thrives on digging into data, identifying problems and creating solutions to improve the customer experience using a combination of experience, insights, technology and new thinking.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage ongoing changes to the product aligned to the core Foxtel product along with promotional offers and pricing changes in core IT systems
  • Manage ongoing improvements across people, process and systems to improve the customer experience
  • Work with customer experience, service design and other core business areas, including Foxtel to design a digitally lead Foxtel product
  • Work to create an Omni-channel experience through experience design and journey mapping to deliver on T22 strategy
  • Undertake exceptional stakeholder relationship management. Engage, influence and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure initiatives are brought to life seamlessly
  • Lead and deliver innovative product and business initiatives to improve customer experience through driving change in each episode of the customer journey
  • Work with the various market segments, use technical expertise to identify and develop innovative product development opportunities to maximise performance in the market and manage cross product and business unit impacts
  • Keen focus on the customer, drive initiatives that will bring value to the customer and deliver commercial results in terms of reducing complexity and cost of serving a customer
  • Demonstrate commercial acumen, analyse and identify product performance and market trends and manage commercial matters as they relate to the product or portfolio of products, including competitive threats and regulatory issues

     

Qualifications/Experiences Required

Essential

  • Experience in Product Management
  • Experience in IT systems and solutions (including B2B)
  • Experience influencing stakeholders – internal and external
  • Experience in Partner and Vendor Management
  • Experience in executing strategy
  • Experience in driving digital transformation and change
  • Experience in identifying and implementing Customer Experience process improvements
  • Significant experience and knowledge of the telecommunications industry, competitive environment and evolving domestic and international trends, future threats and opportunities
  • Ability to forecast issues and industry trends and their impact on the company and develop short and long term strategies to address them
