About the Role:

The successful candidate will train and coach leaders in becoming Lean Leaders.

Key Accountabilities:

  • To assist to define, build and implement the Quality Improvement Program across the Networks and IT organisation. This includes

    • Writing, implementing and embedding the Quality Improvement set up deliverables including relevant team Sponsor Maps, Sponsor Champion and Partner Plans, Coaching Plans, Balanced Measures and Communications deliverables
    • To partner with Networks and IT teams to create a Governance Framework where the focus is on ensuring the creation of trained (and qualified) leaders coaching their teams in business operations and improvement activities and driving insights to performance measures
  • While the leaders are in the process of learning how to coach, to carry out improvement and change coaching and training
  • To work closely with the pan-Telstra Coaching team including the Agile and Behavioural coaches to ensure a standardised vocabulary and way or working for all coaching activities
  • Manage the teams delivery of project objectives within prescribed time and budget, escalating unanticipated variations for approval
  • Implement change initiatives for the team within the business area
  • Communicate and ensure understanding of agreed project objectives to  project team members
  • Identify innovation opportunities for the project and recommend step improvements
  • Contribute to the development of the project plan, goals and measures

Qualifications/Experiences

  • Experience in using and / or implementing Lean
  • Change management accreditation such as AIM
  • Coaching qualification
  • Coaching experience at different levels of a Telco organisation
  • Business Process Management Maturity experience
  • Agile exposure / experience
