Working within our Consumer & Small Business team (C&SB), Digital Optimisation and Capability team will drive digital insights, formulate CX requirements and implement business improvements to meet our growth objectives. Projects can span across customer journey analysis, conversion rate optimisation, data analytics and implementation, data visualisation, running experiments to deliver CX and growth.

About the role

You will work in a team of Optimisation Capability Specialists to provide technical leadership to deliver & maintain Analytics and Personalisation / Optimisation capability on Telstra’s digital assets.

  • Collaborate with the Digital Optimisation Capability team to deliver world class Analytics, Personalisation and Optimisation capability.
  • Work with the wider business teams to promote capability, best practices, and industry developments.
  • Work with asset development teams to introduce and maintain capability into new and existing assets according to team standards, for example introducing DataLayer to asset teams to support Analytics capture.
  • Develop and grow your understanding of the industry to improve and contribute to the your own and team’s expertise.
  • Recommend and asset new technologies that will allow for strategic improvements to Telstra’s Analytics, Personalisation and Optimisation capability.

About you

  • Experience with Analytics tagging for digital assets, ideally Adobe Analytics (Omniture)
  • Solid understanding of Front End development tools, including JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, HTML
  • 2+ years of front-end development experience
  • Knowledge of website optimisation and test design methodologies
  • Solid experience using Personalisation and Optimisation tools, such as Adobe Marketing Suite, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or Optimizely
  • Experience with Tag Management Solutions (TMS) in particular Adobe DTM or Adobe Launch
  • Experience implementing digital experiences using segmentation, audience selection, targeting rules, and tailored end-to-end digital customer journeys using tools such as Adobe Audience Manager or Salesforce Audience Builder.
