In a world of advancing digital technology and capability related to digital optimisation and conversion capabilities including conversion rate optimisation (CRO), digital marketing optimisation and AI, a senior specialist is required to work across the teams interfacing into the optimisation and transformation tech teams to be able to drive capability roadmap development and deployment.

About the role

This role works closely across the Digital Conversion Team to drive the usage of CRO and digital marketing optimisation capability into the Digital Conversion Centre of Expertise (COE), focusing on Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Interaction Studio and the Adobe suite, with a focus on Adobe Analytics, Target and Audience Manager.

  • Collate requirements and conduct research to determine best practices in digital optimisation
  • Work with vendors to understand capability, best practices across customers and advanced features; and share insights with the Digital Conversion Team and broader Digital Channel teams
  • Drive strategy of developing and evolving digital optimisation capability based on capability available in tools /applications implemented or being implemented; working with vendors and partners to unlock and advance appropriate features
  • Build a digital optimisation capability roadmap and manage the development and implementation of capability against roadmap
  • Work closely with solution designers and architects, solution specialists and developers as required, driving capability in line with Telstra’s strategy
  • Drive evolution of digital optimisation across the Digital Optimisation and Capability, clearly articulating optimisation strategy, best practices and the capability to deliver best in market digital assets
  • Lead the configuration, integration and operationalising of Salesforce Marketing Cloud Interaction Studio into the Digital Conversion team, as well as working across other key Optimisation and Capability and Digital Channel teams

About you

  • Proven experience in digital optimisation, using tools such as Adobe Experience Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud and /or Interaction Studio (Thunderhead)
  • Experience as a senior Business Analyst and or ICT Business Development Manager
  • Digital marketing and e-commerce experience
  • Experience working on transformation projects taking a lead role e.g. as project /program manager or lead business analyst / architect
  • An excellent grasp of online data types (web analytics, SEM, SEO, Display, Social, Google, etc.), tag management solutions, digital data layer and data management platforms (DMP) to able to extract, analyse and determine digital insights
  • Able to work with online and offline data, enriching behavioural data with customer data to improve optimisation activities
  • Tertiary education in Information Technology, Commerce, Business Science, or Marketing
  • Advanced Adobe Analytics experience including setting up workspace / workbench reports
  • Experience with data management platforms such as Adobe Audience Manager / Salesforce Krux
