If you’re looking for a career defining challenge in user experience content, you’ve found it! We’re a leading telco with a newly Agile and energised digital department, and we need a writer’s writer to lead our awesomely cool content team. Here’s what you’ll need to do.

  • Lead the team

    Our content specialists work at the heart of our Agile teams, creating effortless digital experiences in sales and self-service. You’ll be responsible for developing and mentoring this close and collaborative group of 10-15 writers. So you’ll know how to empower smart people to turn good customer experiences into great ones. And you’ll know when it’s time to buy the team donuts.

  • Build the culture

    This is a hands-on role with Experience Design Copy leadership at its core. Our writers work across every kind of customer-facing content on our websites and mobile apps, from the bread-and-butter business to strategic new projects. You’ll lead and support their involvement in the UX design process, fostering a test-and-learn culture through both qualitative and quantitative content testing.

  • Grow the channels

    Conversation with our customers is our most valuable asset. And we want to lift that conversation to another level. Using human centred design, personalisation and data-driven decision making, you’ll help deliver experiences that really engage our customers. Working with our UX and visual design managers, you’ll champion the experience principles of easy to find, easy to understand and easy to do.

  • Stand ups. Meet ups. Nosh ups.

    Finally, you’ll drive a culture of fun, expertise and solidarity with regular team stand ups and meet ups (lunches go down well), as well as 1:1s and performance reviews for each team member.

What you’ll bring

  • 5+ years’ experience leading a digital content team.
  • 3+ years’ content optimisation experience across a range of digital channels and customer journeys.
  • Experience designing content for multi-segment user groups at a telco or similar.
  • Experience working with content metrics such as user comprehension and task completion.
