The primary focus of this role is to provide software engineering test expertise for O2A systems.
What you'll work on
As the Senior Test Specialist, you'll be...
working with the capability Feature Team Lead and other team members to craft solutions that meet the strategic goals of the capability.
preparing test strategies and test pans in alignment with the solution designed by Architects and SEs. However, applies intelligence, and works with the solution engineer to change designs if there is a better solution. May take on solution engineering role as required.
assisting other team members in creation of technical components.
Create High Level Scenario’s at the end of the discovery phase
Analyse and Start planning for Stubs/mocks as part of Discovery phase
Work closely with all the feature teams involved as part of the capability and analyse/align data required for testing Feature AC’s and Capability level AC’s
Designing and writing Capability Level Automation/Manual Scripts as required
Continually improve technologies (Test automation and OSV) used by the team to deliver products and services to our customers.
Apply engineering best practices such as Agile, CI/CD, and DevOps as part of high performing software engineering teams to deliver products and services to our customers.
To be successful in the role, you must have:
8+ years of experience in testing and automation or development teams of large complex IT projects.
Hands on testing experience (Manual/Automated)
Experience in test automation tools like Selenium/CA-Lisa is an advantage
Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and helping teams explore, adopt and optimize Agile/Lean processes, principles and practices.
Preparing test strategies for the full stack: AngularJS, Java based back-end, NoSQL database.
Technical management and leadership skills.
Engaging and influencing internal stakeholders such as operations, architects and various business groups.
Excellent communication skills.
