We are looking for suitable candidates to support our customers across Australia for a fixed term role for 12 months.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The role of the Cisco Solution Lead is to drive and lead the Telstra & Cisco’s sales strategy, across the entire Cisco portfolio.  With the primary responsibility to drive and accelerate agreed key programs and initiatives that addresses coverage, capability and capacity of our joint Telstra and Cisco solutions. This role has national accountability across our mid-market enterprise portfolio of clients. As the Cisco Solution Lead, you will be focused on customer success, retention, growth, renewal and advocacy across the portfolio. This role will contribute towards an incredibly important part of Telstra’s strategy and you will be working with global leading organisations to build strategy, develop new leading solution and drive joint opportunities.

Some key responsibilities include:

  • Deliver sales and revenue performance as per annual targets
  • Deliver customer business transformation and success through accelerated adoption and usage
  • Provide in depth technical Cisco knowledge and advice in support of client deals
  • Being a subject matter expert in all things Cisco you will upskill and train internal sales staff and allow them to leverage your knowledge to further create Cisco adoption
  • Lead, collaborate and demonstrate solution development for upcoming large deals within the mid-market space working closely with our sales team
  • Coordinate and support face-to-face customer meetings with senior management and C-level executives
  • Create and lead strategic efforts to identify new market space for Cisco and Telstra

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Detailed technical understanding of Cisco product – this is a must
  • Relevant experience in ICT or related disciplines
  • Proven experience in Enterprise sales
  • Experience driving new sales and customer using innovative approaches
  • Enterprise customer level experience with Cloud, hybrid infrastructures, productivity and security technologies and industry standards recommended
  • Significant experience delivering persuasive presentations to business decisions makers.
