About the role

Your role is pivotal to the success of our use of marketing automation. You may find yourself delivering an email informing customers about an upcoming plan change, or an MMS that’s all about why getting the latest iPhone from Telstra is the best, or an app notification to make sure customers are aware of an internet outage that means their Smart Modem has switched to 4G.

What you'll do

  • Be passionate and always informed when it comes to SFMC, you have knowledge and experience and you prioritise formal and informal training and self-learning to continue to build your skills and grow your career
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and provide subject matter expertise on the use of SFMC in campaign delivery
  • Provide insights and contribute to the development of the most efficient operational processes for the programming of SFMC journeys, enabling you and your peers to deliver the most effective campaigns quickly and simply
  • Be informed and up to date about legal, regulatory and business compliance requirements and ensure you apply them correctly for all applicable builds
  • Ensure appropriate testing and quality assurance processes are followed for all journeys, and support your fellow programmers with peer reviews
  • Identify opportunities for incremental improvements and solutions to existing processes and systems within SFMC
  • Participate and embrace Agile ways of working, mindsets and practices to support measurable improvements to effectiveness and productivity

About you

  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud for building and executing customer communications journeys
  • Use of SQL coding and Amp Scripting in the Marketing Cloud environment
  • Highly collaborative approach to working with stakeholders and a willingness to partner with others to achieve cross-functional outcomes

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications for Email Specialist (required), Consultant, Developer and Administrator (preferred)
  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, IT, Engineering or a related discipline is preferred
