The role with us,
The Organic Social Media Editor will create and facilitate activity on Telstra’s primary social media channels with a focus on organic social media. They will become the ‘voice’ of Telstra on some social channels through our Always On program, and support team members to execute campaigns.
We’ve grown a strong organic social following across all our channels and this role will help us bring our brand to life on social. We want to engage, entertain and connect with our followers to turn our customers into fans, and this role is at the forefront of that goal. The editor will ideate, create, schedule, curate, edit, publish and amplify content in support of campaign and communications objectives. They’ll own some of Telstra’s social channels, helping build an engaged organic community of followers and are also expected to lead copy writing across Telstra’s social channels.
Applying their expertise, the Specialist will share insights and promote innovation, driving improvement in Telstra’s use of key social media channels. They will also work collaboratively in managing issues as they arise on internal and external social media channels.
