This is a great opportunity for a Perth-based Network Security Engineer looking to take their first step into the world of consulting. Or if you're already a Consultant, hoping to get more exposure to newer technologies, then this could also be the gig for you.

As our Network Security Consultant, you'll deliver bespoke networking, network security and cloud networking solutions to enterprise customers. You'll develop technical knowledge and skills in the latest technology for enterprise environments, including: SDWAN, Secure edge infrastructure, Internet gateway and Cloud networking. This is a great opportunity for a mid-level Network Security Engineer, looking to take the next steps in a Professional Services Consulting environment, though we'd also love to hear from you if you're already working in a consulting capacity.
Some contributions to pre-sales activities, including defining project scopes, effort estimates, and providing guidance on technology choices
You'll take ownership of Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation, and lead design workshops
Contribute to the design, development and delivery of multiple technology consulting engagements
Engage and manage stakeholder relationships both internally (e.g. across Telstra Purple Sales, Delivery and Project teams) and externally (e.g. with customers and vendors), in order to deliver outstanding solutions across our portfolio.
Take accountability for your own contribution to service delivery and project profitability, ensuring you meet your team’s objectives
Perth based, so you can easily visit client-site, when we're able to move again (essential)
Network and Security experience, ideally within a consulting environment
You're a mid-level Network Security Engineer or a Network Security Consultant
You've got experience as a Network and Security Pro - with up to date hands-on experience in delivering and implementing Network and Security solutions.
You have hands-on experience in the technical delivery of one or more of the following:
SD-WAN: Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet, Velocloud
Firewalls: Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto
Cloud networking: Azure, AWS
Networking: WiFi, campus, and data centre
Project scoping and estimating
